An investment seminar held today (14/12/2015) in the conference room of Ishwardi EPZ to promote investment in the Ishwardi, Uttara and Mongla EPZs located in Northern & Southern region of the country. This seminar is organized to attract investors for setting up industries in these three EPZs.
In the inaugural speech Mr. Md. Ruhul Amin, General Manager of Ishwardi EPZ briefed over the growing success of the investment, export & employment of the EPZs of the country. He started activities of the seminar through multimedia presentation describing the investment friendly atmosphere existing in the Ishwardi, Uttara & Mongla EPZ. Mr. Ruhul Amin urged the investors to avail the opportunity to invest in the 56 vacant plots of Ishwardi EPZ and requested the investors to invest in the Uttara & Mongla EPZ as well. He highlighted in the seminar regarding seven years tax holiday, reduced rate for land and standard factory building, gas plus other logistic facilities, connectivity with sea, rail, road and air, which is contributing an important role in the export of Mongla, Ishwardi and Uttara EPZ. The General Manager of the Ishwardi EPZ showed a pictorial presentation on the working environment of the EPZ especially the world famous international diversified products produced by the easily trainable & skilled workers of Bangladesh.
Mr. Shariful Islam, Manager (CO & IR) of Ishwardi EPZ explained the business operation procedure & facilities provided by the IEPZ. Mr. Golam Zakir Hossain, Secretary of the Rajshahi Chamber expressed his optimism to create eagerness of the entrepreneurs of his region to invest in the EPZ. The invited guests thanked the organizer to arrange such type of seminar, which gave them an opportunity to know in detail about the Uttara, Mongla & Ishwardi EPZ.
Among other Mrs. Nazma Binte Alamgir, General Manager (Public Relations), representatives of the enterprises of Ishwardi EPZ including other officers of concern zone were present at the seminar.
