To build awarness on earthquake & fire safety of the workers, a workshop was jointly organized by Dhaka Export Processing Zone and Fire Service & Civil Defence in Dhaka EPZ yesterday (06.05.2015).
Mr. Md. Ahsan Kabir, General Manager of Dhaka EPZ inaugurated the workshop. Memebers of the Workers Welfare Association (WWA) of different industries of Dhaka EPZ participated in the awareness workshop. Mr. Mamoon Mahmood, Deputy Assistant Director, Fire Service & Civil Defence brifed on earthquake and fire safety awareness. Mr. Abdul Hamid Mia, Sr. Station Officer of EPZ fire station highlighted the self-defense technique to the workers during earthquake & fire incident. Gradually this type of awareness workshops will be organized in other EPZs.
