Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) has congratulated the honourable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for landslide victory in the 11th parliamentary election. The Executive Chairman of BEPZA Major General Mohd Habibur Rahman Khan, BSP, ndc, psc, on behalf of the employees of BEPZA, greeted her with flowers at Ganabhaban on 31 December.
Under the dynamic leadership of the Honourable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasnia BEPZA experienced a 3 fold increase in the flow of investment in the last 10 years. Export from the eight EPZs of BEPZA increased more than 4 fold. BEPZA generated employment for more than 3 lac during this period. Mentionable, Honurable Prime Minister is the Chairman of the BEPZA Board of Governors. Most of the EPZs of BEPZA started journey by the decision of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
