BEPZA bid farewell to its 17th Executive Chairman Major General Abul Kalam Mohammad Ziaur Rahman, BSP, ndc, psc, on September 16, 2025, as he concluded his nearly four-year tenure with the organization. He joined BEPZA on November 07, 2021, and since then had played a pivotal role in advancing the vision and mission of the Authority.
On this occasion, BEPZA organized a farewell program where Members, Executive Directors from the Executive Office, Executive Directors of the Zones (who joined virtually), and officials and employees from all levels of BEPZA came together to express their heartfelt gratitude. The event reflected on his dedicated leadership, achievements, and the significant contributions he made to the growth and progress of BEPZA.
BEPZA gratefully acknowledges his profound contributions in steering the organization forward and wishes him continued success in all future endeavours.
