Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) celebrated birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on 17.03.2018 with due dignity and enthusiasm. In this regard, Major General Mohd Habibur Rahman Khan, BSP, ndc, psc, Executive Chairman of BEPZA along with a team of high officials placed the wreaths at the portrait of the great Architecture of Independence and the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu in the early morning.
Later, life and political activities of Bangabandhu was discussed in details and screening a documentary film & displayed photographs on his life and work at the BEPZA Executive Office, Dhaka. Major General Mohd Habibur Rahman Khan, BSP, ndc, psc, Executive Chairman, Mr. Zillur Rahman ndc, Member (Investment Promotion), Mr. Md. Mosaddeque Ali, Member (Engineering), Mr. Md. Mizanur Rahman, Member (Finance), Mr. Md. Nabirul Islam, Secretary, General Managers of each departments including all levels of officers and employees of BEPZA attended the program.
Moreover, BEPZA Public School & Colleges operated by EPZs celebrated birth anniversary of Bangabandhu & National Children’s Day in the same way including arranging painting & essay competition. Eight Export Processing Zone under BEPZA located in different parts of the country i.e. Chittagong, Dhaka, Comilla, Ishwardi, Mongla, Uttara, Adamjee, & Karnaphuli EPZs celebrated birth anniversary of Bangabandhu in a befitting manner as like BEPZA Executive Office.
